Allen Bradley 100-D Contactors Reach End of Life
New 100-E Large Frame Contactors Replace the 100-D Series as of March 31, 2019 - Creating Efficiencies and Cost Savings
Allen Bradley’s popular 100-D line of contactors is nearing end of life status. Beginning on March 31, 2019, the 100-D will no longer be available. The replacement 100-E contactors provide a narrower panel footprint, reduced weight, lower coil power consumption and simplified selection.
The 100-E , ranging from 116 to 2650 amps, offers a wider range of sizes to choose from than the 100-D and many other benefits. The 100-E offers AC/DC control voltages with their standard electronic coil. The new coils reduce the inrush requirements by half or more, allowing you to save money on your power supply or transformer. Additionally, the physical size reduction of the frames and quick connect bussing solutions for connecting to circuit breakers reduce panel space requirements and make installation easier as well.
