The new 856T Control Tower signaling system features a proven, modular construction design similar to the 855T but incorporates brighter LED illumination and a broad offering of sound technologies all in a 70mm diameter housing. This new design allows the 856T to meet the widest range of signaling applications with a reduced number of components (SKUs) without compromising functionality and flexibility.

An intrinsic safety approach can be more cost-effective than other hazardous location protection/ mitigation strategies in Class l, Division 1 (Zones 0 and 1) locations.
Intrinsic safety circuits are designed to operate at low enough energy levels that igniting hazardous materials will be averted--even in the event of a fault condition, such as a short circuit. Intrinsic safety circuits do not require expensive inert gas purging/pressurization or "explosion-proof"/containment strategies for hazardous locations.
