Obsolescence of some 700-RTC Products

Allen-Bradley is announcing the discontinuance of the 700-RTC Solid State Timing Relays (240V DC, 220/240V AC 50/60 Hz) both with Potentiometer and Fixed Time Delay, effective immediately. In addition, Solid State Timing Relays with Remote Potentiometer Type 700-RTCR (24V DC, 24V AC 50/60 Hz) will also be discontinued.

The affected catalog base numbers of the Solid State Timing Relays are: 700-RTC…U2 (240V DC, 220/240V AC 50/60 Hz) and 700-RTCR…U24 with all contact arrangements. This discontinuation is due to the obsolescence of the ASIC component by the supplier.

Important Note: The 700-RTC coil voltages, U1 (120V DC, 110/120V AC 50/60 Hz) and U24 (24VDC, 24V AC 50/60 Hz) are still available for order and are not affected. These standard catalog numbers are: 700-R¬TC…U1 and 700-RTC…U24 Solid State Timing Relays.

Obsolescence of Bulletin 852S Solid-State Timer

Obsolescence of Bulletin 700-PL & -PT

Rockwell Automation announces the discontinuance of the factory assembled Allen-Bradley Bul. 700-P Relay with Mechanical Latch Unit (700-PL (AC) and 700DC-PL (DC)), and factory assembled 700-P with Pneumatic Time Delay Unit (700-PT, 700-PKT (AC) and 700DC-PT, 700DC-PKT (DC)) effective 1/31/2010.

The affected catalog base numbers of the assembled relays are: 700-PLXXX, 700DC-PLXXX, 700-PTXXX, 700-PKTXXX, 700DC-PTXXX, and 700DC-PKTXXX followed by any contact configuration and any coil voltage. Above catalogs will not be available after the discontinuation date 1/31/2009. Although the factory assembled relays with either the mechanical latch or the timer unit will not be available after the due date but the customer will be able to purchase the stand alone 700-P Relay and the Mechanical Latch or Timer unit separately and field assemble the product.

Hoffman Obsoletes Duplicate Thermal Model Codes During recent SKU rationalization and clean-up efforts, duplicate thermal model codes were found in Hoffman's system. To resolve this issue the four model codes listed below will be obsolete, effective immediately, and orders will default to the corresponding active model codes.
