In consultation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”), Milwaukee Tool is voluntarily expanding the warnings and instructions for the MILWAUKEE M18 HIGH DEMAND 9.0 battery pack (model no. 48-11-1890).
If highly conductive or corrosive fluids get inside the M18 HIGH DEMAND 9.0 battery pack in sufficient quantities, they can cause the battery pack to fail. Failure can include short-circuit which, in the extreme situation, can result in smoking or fire, even when not in use. Examples of highly conductive or corrosive fluids include seawater, certain industrial chemicals and bleach or bleach-containing products.
This safety notice does not require users to return their M18 HIGH DEMAND 9.0 battery pack.
Milwaukee Tool is committed to your utmost safety while delivering the highest quality and most innovative products in the power tool industry.
For more information, go to www.milwaukeetool.com/safetynotices
Any customers who believe highly conductive or corrosive fluids have entered their M18 HIGH DEMAND 9.0 battery pack should immediately contact Milwaukee Tool at 1-844-577-5515 (7am to 10pm Eastern Time Sunday through Saturday).
According to OSHA, over 2 million construction workers a year are exposed to crystalline silica dust. Found in materials like concrete, tile, rock, stone and brick, exposure to silica dust can be a major cause of a fatal cancer known as silicosis.
Starting September 23, 2017, the OSHA regulation on respirable crystalline silica dust (29 CFR 1926.1153) will be enforced for construction trades. This regulation reduces the Permissible Exposure LImit (PEL) to 50 pg/m3 over an 8-hour period and will affect jobsites nationwide.
This Product Notice informs you of an anomaly that exists with the SequenceManager in Studio 5000 Logix Designer V28.00.xx. When an ACD file containing sequence and phase programming is uploaded from a controller, the connection between the phase and the sequence disconnects. On subsequent downloads, this disconnection results in recipe changes from the sequence not being acted on by the phase in the controller.
Full correction of this anomaly requires upgrading your Studio 5000 Logix Designer to V28.01.00 or later. V28.01.00 is expected to be available for download from the Rockwell Automation Product Compatibility and Download Center (PCDC) on or before end of May 2016.

This Product Notice informs you of a potential anomaly that exists with PowerFlex 700H and 700S HiHP (High Horsepower) Frames 10 14 AC Drives. In a small number of drives an intermittent false IOC instantaneous overcurrent fault may occur. When this occurs, the drive will initiate a safe shutdown. Drive operation may continue when the fault is cleared and the drive reset.
A potential anomaly exists with PowerFlex 700H and PowerFlex 700S HiHP AC Drives frame sizes 10-14. In a small number of drives an intermittent false instantaneous overcurrent (IOC) current fault may occur. When this occurs, the drive will initiate a safe shutdown and stop operating until the fault is cleared and the drive reset.

The affected products are: Trusted T8160 and T8160C TMR Interface Modules, also referred to as Regent Interface Modules (RIM), shipped between June 2006 and April 2015, hardware issue E or later.
The product catalog number, serial number, and hardware issue are located on the product nameplate, located on the side of the module. The product catalog number is located in the PROD No. field and will be one of T8160 or T8160C. The product serial number is located in the SERIAL No field. The product hardware issue level is in the H/W and will be E or later.
A potential anomaly exists with the Trusted T8160 and T8160C TMR Interface Module, also known as the Regent Interface Module (RIM), used to interface to Regent I/O subsystems. On some modules, internal component interconnections may loosen due to vibration or heat cycling during transit or operation. This may result in one or more of the three redundant systems in the module stopping during operation or not starting, as indicated by one or more of the "Healthy" LEDs on the front of the module flashing.
An affected module may intermittently start correctly but may subsequent stop operating during operation. Even though a module appears to be working correctly, modules identified by serial number as described in the Product Identification section of this document, must be returned for factory repair to correct the anomaly.
Customers should contact their Trusted system integrator and make arrangements to return product identified in the Product Identification section of this document for repair. Reference this Product Notice PN 2015-07-001 when requesting product repair services.
